Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, founder of Dr. Bryant Foundation and President of NAACP San Pedro/Wilmington is pleased to announce that they have received $100,000 worth of grocery gift cards from Mike Lansing to serve the harbor community. This will go to the Harbor Area, Los Angeles County and will be divided amongst the following organizations: Los Angeles Harbor Community College, Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Warren Chapel church, Iglesia Puerta Del Cielo, IBEW local 11, San Pedro Committee, and City Lights.
Today, while the government is taking stronger measures to tackle the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses are being temporarily closed, and news outlets are full of information about the disease. In some areas, restaurants and take-away offers are being limited and some items in grocery stores are becoming less available. As an organization that provides community care and resources to youth state facilities and at-risk youth programs, Dr. Bryant Foundation has promised to effectively distribute the 100,000 worth of grocery gift cards to disadvantaged families in the Harbor Area, Los Angeles County.
Dr. Bryant Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, a Psychology Expert, renowned Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, community activist, and the President of NAACP; branch #1069. She is also the founder of Dr. Bryant Institute. Dr. Bryant Foundation provides school supplies, clothing, computers, and exposure to the underprivileged, and implements needs and resolutions to the community to advance the inner-city youth, and families.
