Vegans Drip Inc. has taken their goal of promoting the vegan eating culture a notch higher as the fashion brand recently entered into a partnership with PLNT Burger to host a vegan cookout at the Sandlot. The event is scheduled to hold at the Sandlot in Georgetown on Saturday, May 29 from 12 to 5 pm to encourage more people, especially Black American Millenials, to go vegan.
“We are excited to share delicious vegan food from PLNT Burger to help encourage people to eat like you love yourself,” said Brittanie Price.
There has been an increasing call for more people to go vegan due to the immense benefits of the lifestyle. While the vegan concept has become increasingly popular in recent times, millions of people in the United States and other parts of the world remain skeptical about embracing the lifestyle. Several initiatives have been put in place to encourage more people to embrace the vegan way of life. However, more needs to be done in this aspect, which is where Vegans Drip Inc., is looking to take the campaign a notch higher using fashion and collaborating with other organizations pursuing a similar cause. In a related development, the clothing line is set to host a vegan cookout in partnership with PLNT Burger.
The cookout will be an opportunity for foodies, especially people considering the vegan lifestyle to experience the best of classic American food turned Vegan, resonating with Vegan Drip’s “eat like you love yourself” campaign. PLNT Burger was created by Chef Spike Mendelsohn as a burger joint to craft and redefine some of America’s favorite foods. Located inside the Whole Foods Market in the DMV, the brand focuses on juicy, indulgent burgers, soft-serve, savory snacks, and seasonal salads, allowing consumers to indulge healthily.
The collaboration is a match made in heaven, with the forward-thinking brands looking to challenge the status quo and get more people to go vegan.
