New novel "Third Party" by Jay Beck is released, a political thriller focused on the 1992 presidential election that illuminates serious issues facing the U.S. government today

“Third Party” by Jay Beck has been released worldwide. This 374-page work of historical fiction is the third in Beck’s trilogy that follows political consultant Mark Young into a world of political secrets, sabotage, and real-world problems that threaten democracy. Loosely based on the campaign of Ross Perot, Beck weaves an intriguing tale of power dynamics, the frightening realities of internal political dealings, and a real-world warning about the impending calamity of American national debt.

The novel finds Mark Young co-managing a third-party presidential campaign, and brings readers onto the rollercoaster of trying to manage an unpredictable candidate. Inside this compelling story, however, are prescient issues that have plagued the United States political system for years. From looming deficits to self-interested politicians, Beck shows a frighteningly real portrait of behind the political curtain drawn from personal experiences working inside the U.S. government. The novel, like its namesake, also shows that third-party presidential candidates can be a viable option for the disaffected middle of the American political spectrum.

This adventurous story is rooted in factual political issues and historical events, and uses the power of fiction to create both reflections on the country’s political past and sound the alarm for their consequences in the future.

Third Party (ISBN: 9798985634532) can be purchased through retailers worldwide, including barnesandnoble.com and Amazon. The paperback retails for $14.99.
