Mosquito And Agricultural Pests Eradication – A New Weapon To Fight These Pests With Drones

Oakland, California – A startup company is developing a plug-in modular, multi-function, unmanned aerial vehicle (drone). This single drone can perform various tasks. A list of possible task includes: eradicating mosquitoes and indoor bedbugs, evicting or eradicating agriculture pests such as mice and caterpillars and beetles, helping farmers pollinate plants, clearing tree leaves on roofs and streets, dislodges rooftop snow, and sanitizes and refreshes dirty air and odors indoors.

The company is also working on a high altitude drone to prevent snow avalanches and hail stone forming.  They are working hard on their proprietary technology which is enabling its drone to operate autonomously whether inside or outside utilizing GPS, (simultaneous localization and mapping) SLAM and an advanced obstacle avoidance system. The company’s priority is to put the drone to eradicate mosquitoes without the use of a chemical spray since this little insect carries diseases and is known for causing tens of thousands peoples’ lives each year.

To eradicate mosquitoes in its passive attracting mode the drone lands on a designated ground site and attracts insects. Once insects are lured, they will be immediately eradicated.  In its active offensive mode, the drone hovers closer to insect nests using its high-velocity propellers, producing a strong downdraft jet stream to disturb the nest and force insects, such as mosquitoes and the like, to evacuate from their nest. Once insects are airborne, the drone pursues and eradicates fleeing insects from below or behind.

To remove snow and fallen tree leaves, the drone hovers closer to rooftops, blasting the snow with a high velocity and volume of air to dislodge snow. On streets and on roofs, drone corrals leaves into a pile using high velocity and volume of air.

This young startup company has been working on projects that will improve the quality of life while minimizing the impact on the environment. The company is seeking partners/co-founders to help bring their projects to serve the communities.
