Stewardship, Governance, and the Next Generation
Hilton will also speak about the unique evolution of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, now governed entirely by Hilton family members, led by his sister, Linda Hilton, as Board Chair, with third-generation siblings and select outside leaders playing integral roles.
To ensure the founder’s humanitarian mission endures, the Foundation created Generations in Giving (GIG), a landmark multi-generational program that educates Hilton descendants (up to the 5th generation) in philanthropy, governance, and values-based leadership. Participants receive annual grant allocations, take part in strategy sessions, attend board meetings, and complete a rigorous two-year internship before becoming eligible for board service.
