After such events, attendees find themselves with little to show for their efforts beyond a cluttered mess of business cards. Folocard allows users to optimize the follow-up process and get more value from event attendance.
Folocard users can scan business cards, and the software will harvest key information, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and more. Then, the app automatically fills in an email template with the card’s details, and a draft email is ready to send, or edit further’.
The entire process takes less than 10 seconds from start to finish, allowing users to process stacks of business cards in minutes. Folocard enables a free business card to excel or spreadsheet solution.
Further, the app offers an unlimited email template engine to cater to contextual follow-ups. Eg, fund raising, real-estate and job interviews, among others. The machine vision AI model (OCR) that Folocard deploys works locally, on-device. This privacy aware capability means that Folocard, by default, does not collect business card or email template data on its servers. Additionally, Folocard can work offline and in Airplane mode.
Currently, the application can be downloaded on both Google Play and the Apple Store free of charge. A Subscription plan is offered for advanced features such as cloud backups and marketing automation with Zapier, for connecting to other software like Salesforce.
