June 28, 2023 – New York, New York – Mangia NYC, the renowned gourmet store and catering corporation established in 1981, is delighted to announce the grand opening of its newest location in SoHo, at 588 Broadway. Mangia’s new project was about to begin when the pandemic struck; now, after more than two years of anticipation, Mangia SoHo is open for business. As the management eagerly awaits landmark permits, the current 10,000-square-foot space will eventually expand all the way to Crosby Street, offering an expansive open-concept kitchen, a comfortable seating area, and a state-of-the-art bakery that operates around the clock. Meanwhile, New Yorkers can enjoy the convenience of grab-and-go fresh delicacies such as sandwiches, pastries, salads, coffee, and the celebrated Mangia Italian antipasti.
“We are excited to be opening our fourth location in the city and the 1st one in SoHo, a neighborhood where a lot of our loyal clients and fashion brands call home. Since Dean & Deluca on Broadway has shut down, there has been a big gap in the area for fresh, Mediterranean, fast casual food and we are hoping to offer New Yorkers a healthy breakfast and lunch spot and become their favorite go-to place,” said Sasha Muniak, founder, and owner of Mangia NYC.
The restaurant’s eye-catching décor adds to the excitement of Mangia’s SoHo location. The interior design and concept are reminiscent of an Italian train station from the 1960s. The store was designed by talented designer Silvia Zofia and her team, and its warm atmosphere transports customers to traditional Italian restaurants typically found in Milan or Florence.
New York’s iconic eatery, known for its artisan Italian cuisine made from the finest locally sourced fresh ingredients, is delighted to be part of the world-famous SoHo neighborhood.
