Headline – South Africa Leading The Way to Nano Tracking School Bags

According to the South African police statistics, every 5 minutes a child goes missing in South Africa. This shocking statistic is a growing concern for the current government.

South African Tech Company LXi Technologies in partnership with Ubuhle Bezwe Primary School located in Shoshanguwe north of Pretoria is leading the tech race to combat these high kidnappings and child trafficking rates. For that matter, LXi Technologies and its Mobile App developers have made amazing strides to fight these issues.

This technology was made possible through a breakthrough app developed by LXi technologies by integrating Nano tracking technology and mobile app software that allows parents to download the app and have live information about their child’s location.

The safety feature is placed inside a customised school bag, hidden from tempering and only accessible to the parent to charge the device.

The app also comes with a list of unique communication features that include paperless communication, teachers to mark the attendance register with instant notification to the parent, bus tracker and also a donation raffle link to donate online.

All these features are unique and well designed to give parents instant hands-on information and the ease of knowing where their kids are.

School Government Body and Principle Mrs C L Solomons have welcomed this breakthrough initiative as Ubuhle Bezwe will be the first school in Africa and probably the world to roll out this new technology.
