What the Program Delivers

The Senior Burial Support Program is built for seniors on Medicaid who have little, lapsed, or no life insurance coverage and want a realistic way to prepare.

  • Provides structured, guided fundraising assistance focused on burial expenses
  • Helps families understand expected costs and the gap that needs to be covered
  • Offers a clear process for inviting support from relatives, friends, or community connections while reducing last-minute scrambling and guesswork

“We can’t erase the cost of a funeral,” Stanford said. “But we can replace confusion with clarity and give families a framework for getting help before it’s too late.”
