In celebration of the festive season, De Courceys Manor, a gorgeous Victorian event venue on the outskirts of Cardiff, has announced its plans to host three special events: Stories with Santa, Party Night, and Christmas Sunday Lunch. According to the organizers, the events will hold between 10th December and 23rd December and promise to create an unforgettable winter wonderland for families and locals all over Cardiff.
The festive season will kick off with Party Night, where guests will be treated to live entertainment, including favourite hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and today. This yearly sell-out for night crawlers and party lovers of all ages is set to be even more electrifying than the previous years and will definitely be one for the books. As a spokesperson for the manor puts it, “It’s a night of nostalgia and revelry; one that will get you burning up the dance floor.”
The second event on the calendar is Stories with Santa, where parents can bring their little ones to enjoy a reading of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas’ and other stories, alongside mouth-watering festive treats and drinks. Taking place on the 22nd and 23rd of December (including Christmas eve), it promises to be as much fun for the adults as it is for the kids, with mince pies and beverages included.
Stories with Santa will also give kids the opportunity to share their wish lists with Santa, who will bring them to life in a jolly fashion. Children will also be able to take home their favourite luxury festive gifts, courtesy of the manor. A final treat will be the Christmas Sunday Lunch. Guests are invited to enjoy delicious starters, lip-smacking mains, and a variety of desserts, washed down with fine wines and ales.
Children on Santa Claus’s nice list will get a visit and a secret gift, courtesy of the old jolly man. Commenting on the event, the spokesperson said, “We are excited to invite families from across the region to celebrate the Yuletide season in our beautifully decorated hall, with views overlooking the stunning courtyard. Each of these events is different, so our guests are guaranteed a unique experience that they will never forget.”
