Contractor in Charge Co-Sponsors “Profit First” Workshop in Tampa, Invites Business Owners to Master Their Cash Flow

Contractor in Charge founder Lynn Wise will lead one of the sessions at an upcoming Profit First workshop in Tampa.

For many small business owners, positive cash flow feels elusive; their companies are cash-eating monsters, when they could be money-making machines. An upcoming workshop will provide local entrepreneurs with the skills they need to reverse this formula, and to start generating real, cash profits and strategic business growth. The event will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 in Tampa, Florida. One of the workshop’s co-sponsors, Contractor in Charge, has released a statement to the press, detailing the event.

“It’s not unusual for small business owners to use their revenues for general business expenses, and to hope they have something ‘left over’ for profit at the end of each month,” comments Lynn Wise, the founder of Contractor in Charge. “At this workshop, business owners will learn how to put profit first—alleviating their cash flow worries, growing their companies, and even enjoying the small business owner life.”

Her company provides back-end services for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general contracting professionals, including everything from bookkeeping to dispatch; one of Wise’s passions is coaching business owners through profit-generating cash flow methodologies.

The workshop will feature a special address from Mike Michalowicz, author of the acclaimed Profit First system. Wise will also deliver a workshop session, showing business owners how to accurately assess their own profits. “The goal of the half-day event is to offer business owners some practical tools they can use to make their companies highly profitable, plain and simple,” she notes. A third session, from Topher Morrison, will conclude the workshop, offering CEOs some pragmatic tips on generating more profits.

Wise says, “Many business owners lament that their companies will never have truly significant profit margins—that they will always just be treading water. But with the correct paradigm shift, it’s possible to turn any business into a money-making machine. That’s what this workshop offers.”

Registration for the event is $99. The workshop will be held from 9 AM until 12 PM on February 16, at a Tampa location to be announced.
