Connecticut Science Center Names Riverhouse Catering Exclusive Hospitality Partner
Local, off-premise catering company wins partnership with top attraction

HARTFORD, CT – August 13, 2019 – The Connecticut Science Center and Riverhouse Catering announced a new partnership that names Riverhouse Catering the exclusive partner for all events hosted at the iconic building in Downtown Hartford. The selection came on completion of a national call for proposals.

Riverhouse Catering is an off-premise catering company serving all of Connecticut and part of Riverhouse Hospitality which includes The Society Room of Hartford and The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam.  “Riverhouse Catering is an exceptional company and we are excited to introduce our guests to the quality and service they can deliver,” said Matt Fleury, Connecticut Science Center President, and CEO. “The team at Riverhouse share our same values and goals. We’re looking forward to collaborating to create extraordinary experiences and unique events that will drive our mission forward.”

Riverhouse’s culinary team plans to create a dynamic menu with a focus on seasonality and sustainability. The Science Center’s unique spaces include several meeting rooms and areas that can accommodate groups from 10 to 1500 people. With a 200-seat theater and inspiring gallery spaces, the options to create the perfect event are endless. “The sheer size and volume of events that happen at the Connecticut Science Center every year require only the best of caterers who possess both the expertise and the staff to exceed client expectations,” said Meg Breithaupt, Riverhouse Catering Sales Manager. “We are honored to have been chosen for our abilities.”
