Serving as a Data Scientist for the HELOC business of a renowned U.S. financial group, he led the development of intelligent risk control systems and user behavior analysis models. Through analysis of 10,459 credit datasets, he established a holistic credit risk prediction framework and customized risk assessment system for personalized loan allocation. By implementing MLP and GAM models with Bayesian hyperparameter optimization, he achieved 97.5% accuracy in high-risk borrower detection, cutting bad loan rates by 20% and boosting institutional customer segmentation efficiency. He additionally developed an interactive Streamlit web tool to support real-time loan risk evaluation, automated risk factor analysis and targeted mitigation advice, alongside a missing-feature penalty mechanism that safeguards stable, robust model performance amid incomplete data inputs.
