Los Angeles, CA – July 28th, 2017 – TriCoast Entertainment is proud to invite you to the weeklong premiere screening of Adam Orton’s newest romantic sci-fi film, “AMELIA 2.0” at the Laemmle’s Beverly Hills Music Hall, August 11 – August 18.  

Produced in collaboration by MORE Productions and WeatherVane Productions, AMELIA 2.0 is a futuristic, female suspense film that captures Carter Summerland’s extreme grief after his wife suffers from a sudden aneurysm.

As Carter watches his wife slowly die, he becomes desperate when he agrees to an experimental program that specializes in modern day technology that can control and extend human life through robotics.

But, when Wesley Enterprises implants Amelia’s decaying mind into a new body, she awakes to face the public debate over human’s relationship with technology. As she continues her internal battle with her human past and her seemingly robotic future, she can’t help but wonder what characteristics define humanity.  

The film stars well-known actors, such as Chris Ellis (“The Dark Knight Rises”, “Apollo 13”), Debra Wilson (“Avatar”), Eddie Jemison (“Oceans 11,13”, “War Dogs”) and Kate Vernon (“Malcolm X”, “The Last Song”, “Pretty in Pink”).

Guests will get an exclusive Q&A with director Adam Orton, and actor, Ed Begley, Jr. The prominent Hollywood actor, famous for “Ghostbusters” and “Pineapple Express”, will explore AMELIA 2.0 and its sci-fi world, with additional information about the film world.
