XIHUAN STUDIO 2026 Autumn/Winter Collection: Let the World Witness the Power of “Childhood Aesthetics”

On March 21, XIHUAN STUDIO, China’s first original design brand founded by designers aged 7 to 14, unveiled its 2026 Autumn/Winter collection at the Central Hall of Beijing 798·751 Park during 2026 China Fashion Week (Spring).

Brand Background:

Based in Chengdu and established in 2020, XIHUAN STUDIO is China’s first original design brand led by a collective of young designers. The brand has participated multiple times in China Fashion Week. We believe in placing the tools of creation—from paintbrush to needle, from concept to garment—back into the hands of children. Childhood itself, we believe, is the most precious source of aesthetics. Here, you witness creativity in its purest form: from the first stroke of inspiration on a blank page, to the selection of fabrics from hundreds of textures, from pattern exploration to personalized textile manipulation, all the way to the final stitch on the sewing machine. This complete creative journey is independently guided by the young designers themselves. Each piece is an expression of a vibrant soul, together forming the essence of XIHUAN STUDIO: a “childhood aesthetic” defined by purity, freedom, and vitality. We cherish this authentic passion and are committed to sharing it with the world.

Young Designers:

Wang Moxin, Qin Zhenya, Ma Jingxi, Liang Zhihan, Zhang Yunjia, Ma Maya, Li Zhuoling, Zhou Xinyu, Guo Xingyu, Wang Luqian, Li Xingyu, Yin Chuyuan, Liao Shiying, Xie Mingxuan, Zeng Siyi

On the runway, the young designers also took on the role of models, wearing their own creations as they stepped from behind the scenes into the spotlight—like butterflies emerging from their cocoons. Standing beneath the lights, they were not merely showcasing clothing, but declaring a “childhood aesthetic” born from their inner worlds. This natural, powerful child’s perspective offers a vivid deconstruction of the adult fashion system, injecting a wave of pure, vibrant originality into China’s fashion landscape.

Beyond the runway, beyond the spotlight, they are simply a group of children with dreams, weaving their futures one stitch at a time. Their journey is not without challenges. These young designers often face external doubts—questions about whether they truly participated in the design and production, inquiries about the depth of their involvement, and varied opinions on the aesthetics of their work. Meanwhile, inner struggles also arise: tears shed over imperfect stitching, frustration when a vision cannot yet be fully realized in fabric. These scenes, repeated in the studio, are the true markers of their growth.

XIHUAN STUDIO presents The Kid Designer Collection — a series defined by fluidity and constant evolution, refusing to be pinned down by any single label. This season features five distinct capsules: Romantic Knight, Shan Hai Jing — Stage Wear, Y3K Concept Design, Playful Plush Loungewear, and Creative Knitwear.

1. A fashion aesthetic that blends poetry with strength—it merges the valor of medieval knights and structural silhouettes with the opulence of the Romantic era, shaping an image that is both fiercely independent and dreamily ethereal.

2. Ancient myths reimagined through a modern visual language—ethereal motifs like “the wings of Qinggeng” and “the flicker of Torch Dragon” are translated into a sense of fluid breath, where bold color clashes and exaggerated silhouettes reconstruct the striking presence of mythical creatures.

3. Liquid metal finishes and bioluminescent textures come together in a visual language that fuses cool iridescence with organic, microbial-like details—an aesthetic of contradiction that reimagines the post-natural era.

4. Breaking away from conventional loungewear, it brings a playful touch with three-dimensional animal hoods, paw-print gloves, and pom-pom tails—making every dash a delight with an irresistibly cute silhouette from behind.

5. Yarn becomes a medium of expression, reinterpreting traditional knitting techniques into sculptural textures. Deliberately preserved hand-stitched details add an artisanal warmth, turning each garment into a wearable textile sculpture.

The brilliance in the spotlight, paired with the resilience behind it—this becomes the driving force that keeps them moving forward. With every challenge, their hearts grow stronger, forged by experience. Faced with doubt, they never retreat; instead, they choose to confront it, embrace it, and consistently prove themselves through action. Through cycles of rejection and reinvention, they’ve learned to turn pressure into momentum, stepping into each new chapter of creation with ever-greater maturity.

These young designers may not yet be widely known, but they’ve already learned to grow through doubt and to persist through tears. Steady and determined, they’re making their way forward—fearlessly chasing the fashion dreams that are truly their own.
