To actively respond to the new development opportunities presented by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and proactively integrate into the new landscape of global economic and trade cooperation, in mid-November, Wuxi Linde Cable Co., Ltd., as a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Wire And Cable Industry Association business delegation, conducted an in-depth business visit to Vietnam. The aim of this inspection was to gain on-the-ground understanding of the Vietnamese market environment, connect with potential cooperation resources, and accumulate first-hand experience for the company’s future international development path.
Organized by the association, our company’s representatives, along with fifteen representatives from eight other peer enterprises within the province, comprehensively engaged with local Vietnamese industrial resources through various activities including company visits, attendance at a professional exhibition, and participation in multilateral meetings.
A key part of the delegation’s itinerary was attending the 2025 Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) International Wire & Cable Exhibition. This exhibition is a significant bellwether for the cable industry in Southeast Asia. Our representatives closely followed cutting-edge industry technologies and development trends at the exhibition and initiated preliminary contacts with various parties. Subsequent specialized seminars on legal, tax, and risk prevention and control provided precise, practical guidance for the company’s potential future entry into the Vietnamese market. During the visit, the delegation also held in-depth exchanges with cable associations from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Ho Chi Minh City, reaching a consensus on establishing regular communication mechanisms regarding regional market trends and technical standard alignment. This helps build a broader cooperation network for our company’s future “going global” strategy.
The meeting with the Vietnam China General Chamber of Commerce Jiangsu Enterprises Association (Vietnam Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce) was particularly crucial during this inspection. The Chamber’s Secretary-General and advisory team detailed the characteristics of the Vietnamese market, investment policies, and legal environment. Chamber experts emphasized that the Vietnamese cable market has diverse demand and significant growth potential, but enterprises must attach great importance to compliant operations and localization strategies, and conduct comprehensive risk planning in advance. These professional suggestions provided our company with a clearer and more rational understanding of both the opportunities and challenges in the Vietnamese market.
