William currently is a music business manager, vocal producer, song writer & celebrity barber. William, once a lead singer of r&b boy group ‘Debonair’ in Chicago. He began his professional singing career in 1995 and professionally as a barber in 1992. William later signed to an independent record label named ‘SouthClique Records’ out of South Carolina in 2002 along with former JIVE records label mate Shawn Kane.
WILLIAM’s music industry path helped him perform and work with various grammy nominated producers and artists such as Bobby Reese, Fred Crawford, Bobby Wooten, St. Lunatics & Public Announcement lead singer Felony. William went on to tour with other groups such as ‘Changing Faces’, ‘No Question’ & ‘95 South’. William’s success and business relations nearly landed his group ‘10thPark’ a production deal with Alicia Keys management but family matters and life obstacles derailed that opportunity unfortunately. Two years later, William decided to put his music career on hold and shift his attention and energy as a co-manager for his only son JAWAN HARRIS, a young singing sensation r&b artist who at the time was only 6yrs of age.
Along their journey, William & Jawan’s mom ‘Wanda’ helped land performances at the Apollo Theater, The Maury Povich and various venues throughout the U.S. for Jawan Harris. With countless shows and appearances for Jawan, the management team along with William and Wanda were able to strike a deal with super producer KayGee of ‘Naughty By Nature’. Their journey didn’t stop there. With the help of KayGee & LatoyaWhite, William & Jawan were able to sign a production deal with ‘J Patt Management Company’ (Usher Raymond mother) 6yrs later William and Wanda were blessed and in position to sign a record deal from JIVE RECORDS / Bystorm ENT for Jawan Harris, in which was headed by RCA records president Mark Pitts along with A&R KeithThomas spearheading the movement of what was much more to come. Jawan went on to record singles with artists such as ChrisBrown & Tyga In 2010 and Jawan’s career took off like a rocket.
In 2011 William opened his own recording facility and created an independent record label and production company in Chicago called ‘Chi-Brella Entertainment Studios LLC’ with two of his closest friends and one family member DonJohnson, VincentBrown & JermaineJackson.
William executive produced projects with artist Misiya song titled: ‘Instructions’ and even his own single titled ‘Pullin Some Hair’. William’s stage name is ‘Mr Harris’. A year later William released a label collaboration mixtape titled ‘Chi-Brella Green Light’ Vol.1 with various artist featuring Carvena Jones, DOUBT (rapper), Forever Undefined, LEXI, RALPHY, MYLIN, Devonté Rainey, ThatBoyYC. Pushing forward to 2016, William and his family relocated to Atlanta GA and is currently managing and assisting the careers of Chicago HipHop artist TTG ROSCOE & r&b duo group JAWANxTIFFANY of Atlanta, GA. William has exclusively produced many projects and has recently released his artist TTG ROSCOE single and video titled ‘RICHES’.
