At the AutoGuide Mobile Robots testing center, visitors can interact with the new product development team, get a glimpse of new mobile robot technology in the testing phase, and discover how AutoGuide Mobile Robots can help improve distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing business’ bottom line. The Max N10 and Mylo low-profile Mobile Robots work in a variety of applications from line-side parts delivery to assembly lines to delivering trains of materials. The easy-to-use SurePath traffic control software monitors, manages, and tracks large and small Mobile Robot systems. The center is in Chelmsford, MA.
The Max N10 Mobile robot platform features an advanced, but proven, natural features guidance technology with ultra-high-resolution LiDAR whereas no infrastructure changes are required: no tape, no RFID tags, no magnets, or beacons. Additionally, because no tags, tape, or beacons are required for natural feature guidance, installation time and costs are significantly reduced, and future system expansions or reconfigurations are quick and easy. Accurate, efficient, and affordable, these low-maintenance, inherently safe vehicles can instantly switch from autonomous navigation to temporary manned operation via the manual mode drive platform —flexibly accommodating for unforeseen events.
The Mylo tunneling vehicle is engineered to tunnel under load handling frames or carts. With the lowest profile in the industry at less than 7 inches high, the Mylo can usually work with customers’ existing cart fleet for automated delivery. They glide smoothly under a cart and automatically hitch via a programmable pin assembly. The mobile robot then autonomously transports the load and unhitches, leaving the cart behind, before moving on to the next transport task.
