From Site Arrival to Rapid Installation
Following the successful delivery of flat pack container offices to Hai Phong, Vietnam, VICDOWEX is pleased to share the latest installation progress from the 41-story commercial and apartment construction project.
As reported in our previous project update, the shipment departed from China on October 10 and arrived at the Hai Phong construction site on the evening of October 12.
With the delivery completed, the project has now moved into the on-site assembly stage, and installation is progressing rapidly.
According to the latest site update, approximately one-third of the flat pack container units have already been fully assembled. The structural frames of the remaining units are also in place, with wall panel, door, and window installation being the main work still to be completed.
This rapid progress demonstrates how prefabricated modular buildings can help reduce on-site construction time and accelerate the setup of essential facilities for large-scale construction projects.

One-Third of Container Units Completed, Remaining Frames Assembled
The current installation progress provides a clear picture of the efficiency of the flat pack container building system.
Within a short period after site arrival, the installation team has already completed approximately one-third of the container units, while the remaining units have reached the structural assembly stage.
Instead of building each office from the ground up using conventional construction methods, the team is assembling factory-prefabricated components directly on site.
The container structures consist of pre-manufactured roof frames, floor frames, corner columns, wall panels, doors, and windows.
Once the main frames are assembled, the team can proceed with wall panel installation and the remaining enclosure work.
For the Hai Phong project, this approach has allowed multiple container units to take shape within a relatively short installation period.
The modular office area is becoming increasingly visible, bringing the project closer to its next stage of completion.
Why Flat Pack Container Buildings Enable Faster Installation
For overseas construction projects, installation efficiency is an important consideration when selecting temporary site offices and supporting facilities.
Traditional construction methods often require more on-site material processing and sequential building activities. Flat pack container houses, by comparison, use prefabricated components designed for efficient transportation and assembly.
The Hai Phong project highlights three practical advantages.
1.PrefabricatedComponentsReduceOn-SiteWork
The main steel structural components, wall panels, and building accessories are manufactured and prepared before shipment.
After delivery, the installation team can focus on assembling the structural frames and installing the enclosure components.
This reduces the need for extensive on-site fabrication and helps simplify construction procedures.
2.ModularAssemblySupportsEfficientConstructionScheduling
Flat pack container units use a modular structural system that allows construction teams to organize installation activities according to site conditions and available manpower.
Multiple units can be assembled through coordinated work arrangements, improving the overall installation workflow.
At the Hai Phong site, the rapid completion of the structural frames demonstrates how modular construction can support efficient installation planning.
3.ShorterInstallationTimeHelpsProjectsMoveForward
For large-scale construction projects, site offices are essential for daily management, engineering coordination, meetings, and administrative work.
The sooner these facilities are completed, the sooner they can support the wider project’s operations.
By reducing certain on-site construction procedures, factory-prefabricated flat pack container offices can help shorten the time required to establish functional working spaces.
Actual installation time depends on project size, site preparation, workforce arrangements, weather conditions, and building specifications.

Supporting a 41-Story Construction Project in Hai Phong
The flat pack container offices supplied by VICDOWEX are intended for a 41-story commercial and apartment development in Hai Phong, Vietnam.
The temporary modular office facilities will provide working space for project managers, engineers, supervisors, and administrative personnel during the construction period.
For a project of this scale, the ability to establish site facilities efficiently is important for overall construction organization.
The modular design also allows individual container units to be combined according to different functional requirements, such as project offices, meeting rooms, and other supporting spaces.
With approximately one-third of the container units already completed and the remaining frames assembled, the project office area is steadily taking shape.
