Washington, D.C. – January 13, 2017 – Veterans Venture announced today that it will host a VIP Lounge during the ‘Red Party’ at the National Republican Club of Capitol Hill on January 19th, 2017. The event will also feature a Kick-off Party for the Door Kicker Fund; a fund dedicated towards providing Infantry and Special Operations NCOs entrepreneurial opportunities in start-up and nano-cap companies. Many influential Veterans and world renowned military personnel will be in attendance including guest speaker Michael Waltz and special guest Colonel Jack Jacobs.
The evening will be hosted by the Republican National Committeeat the National Republican Club of Capitol Hill. Veterans Venture will host an intimate gathering in the VIP lounge. This Black tie event will be held from 5pm to 12am in preparation for the Presidential Inauguration held the following day. Attendees at the all-inclusive,intimate gala will enjoy non-stop entertainment, open bar, Hors d’oeuvres, and a beautiful chocolate fountain. While the event at the Republican Club will end promptly at 9pm, those with Veteran’s Venture VIP access will continue the festivities and open bar until midnight.

Veterans Venture is honored to announce, author of “Warrior Diplomat,” Michael Waltz as the keynote speaker set to speak at 8pm. Michael G. Waltz is a lieutenant colonel in the Special Forces (reserve component), president of Metis Solutions, and senior national security fellow at the New America Foundation. Formerly, he was commander of a Special Forces company, counterterrorism advisor to Vice President Dick Cheney and director for Afghanistan policy, Office of the Secretary of Defense–Policy. Michael Waltz is currently a Fox News Correspondent seeking to be a beacon of truth for the military community on foreign and national affairs. Michael believes strongly in Veterans Venture and the Door Kicker Fund as a way to being the most capable and underutilized resource to the forefront of entrepreneurship.
Also in attendance, will be Colonel Jack H. Jacobs, Chairman of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and contributes to NBC/MSNBC as a military analyst. Colonel Jacobs earned the Medal of Honor for exceptional heroism on the battlefields of Vietnam. He also holds three Bronze Stars and two Silver Stars.
