Dr. Elmi received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1995 from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, the capital city of Iran. After moving to the United States, Dr. Elmi completed a residency at Easton Hospital, and then a fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Elmi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and holds further board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Elmi is an expert in Invasive Cardiology, and has published medical papers in this field. A professional member of the Northampton County Medical Society, Dr. Elmi attributes his success to his hard work. When he is not working, Dr. Elmi likes to relax by playing and watching both tennis and soccer.
