Vancouver-based NexGen adds Sydney Opera House renovations to fast-growing list of high-profile projects

19 July, 2017 – Vancouver, Canada – The renewal project of the iconic Sydney Opera House includes Canadian wood coating protection manufacturer NexGen among their materials suppliers.

The Vancouver-based company bested stiff local and international competitors for the coveted contract to protect all wood used in the renewal project. Award-winning NexGen is gaining recognition all over the globe for its industry-changing eco-friendly wood protection technology. NexGen provides greater protection than traditional wood treatments while costing substantially less. About the project:

“It’s truly a great honor for us that NexGen has been chosen to safeguard the lives of all future patrons of the Sydney Opera House. The Sydney Opera House is one of the most iconic structures in the world, and the very fact that their team of building professionals and engineers chose NexGen to protect all the wood speaks to the unmatched protection and reputation of our revolutionary, eco-friendly technology.”

“Our goal at NexGen is to have every new building, whether it’s a home, a workplace, a school or a commercial site, be safeguarded in an environmentally ethical and affordable way. We now have the technology to achieve this.”

“We want every prospective home buyer to ask, ‘Is this a NexGen home?’”

About the product:

All wood materials once coated with NexGen are warranted for fire – the only warranty like it in the world, underwritten by no less than Lloyds of London.  Lloyds also warrants these materials for the prevention of mould, rot, and insect infestation from all wood-boring insects, including termites (50 years for covered material, 30 years for exterior use).

You only need a single coat which can be applied to the wood via brush, spray, flood coating, roller, or dipping, and can be done either at the factory or on the jobsite.  Best of all, NexGen coatings are remarkably inexpensive, as little as 2 cents / square foot of coverage area.

About NexGen:

By coordinating with our global partners to change the way every building is constructed, NexGen is ensuring that future generations have healthy and safe places to live and work without sacrificing the health and safety of our planet.

NexGen is quickly laying claim to being the go-to product for wood protection across the globe. From Vancouver to Dubai, from Shanghai to New York, and now to Sydney, NexGen boasts clientele on nearly every continent.
