“It was just such a shock to see these poor, vulnerable animals roaming the streets scavenging for whatever they could find to eat. I just had to do something to help.”

After reaching out to numerous volunteer organisations including The Philippine Animal Welfare Society he was able to feed, vaccinate and house over 250 dogs. He further donated money towards temporary animal care housing to ensure dogs could be taken off the streets and provided with much needed love and care.

“I have always had a passion to help make a difference in the world, it is amazing what just one person can do to to bring a community together for change.”

From this experience Bryce has had the opportunity to meet like-minded people who share similar passions and has gained so much knowledge about animals, cultures and the amazing services that are out there.

“My experience in the Philippines was like no other, very rewarding.”

Like a lot of animal rescue volunteers there is always that one animal that makes a special imprint on your heart. For Bryce and Darby, it was the dog (picture in image) who was adopted by a young filipino family.
