Tigerhall’s "Tiger Therapy" Podcast: The Solution to Self-Doubt
The Tiger Therapy Podcast hosts guests that defied expectations and conquered self-doubt.

Tigerhall, a modern organizational enablement solution for organizations, launched its new podcast, “Tiger Therapy” on October 30th. The podcast explores the universal challenges of self-doubt, limiting beliefs, and the pursuit of success, offering practical insights and real-life stories to empower listeners worldwide.

“Tiger Therapy” features candid conversations with global speakers who have experienced success on their own terms, defied expectations, shattered ceilings, and conquered self-doubt. Self-doubt, or low-self-esteem is a common struggle faced by professionals in today’s workforce, with 85% of people wrestling with it at some point. It can have a severe impact on people’s lives, leading to low achievement and even burnout. Tiger Therapy recognizes these challenges and seeks to provide a solution through conversation.

The podcast’s inaugural episode featured one of the world’s leading experts in productivity, Nir Eyal, who shared his journey from chronic procrastination and obesity due to limiting beliefs and self doubt, to how he became a global thought leader and best-selling author. “I’ve had my own fair share of limiting beliefs,” says Nir, “I used to be clinically obese. I felt like food controlled me. It wasn’t until I learned ways to gain greater agency over what I was doing and to actually be brave enough to go deeper within that I could start making progress. Now, I’m in the best shape of my life and I’m sharing that path and the solutions I learned with you on Tiger Therapy.”

Tiger Therapy is hosted by Pippa Woodhead, Head of Podcasts at Tigerhall. Over the past five years Pippa has led 800+ interviews with extraordinary business figures from all over the world, from C-levels of Fortune 500 companies, to neuroscientists specializing in workplace happiness and peak performance, and even Olympic medal winning athletes.

Pippa has experienced self-doubt and imposter syndrome throughout her career.  “Throughout my career, I’ve watched brilliant minds sell themselves short, trapped by self-doubt and limiting beliefs, a pattern I’ve keenly felt in my own journey,” says host Pippa Woodhead. From shying away from opportunities, avoiding the limelight and having a deep-down belief that a big career wasn’t “meant for her”, she’s now sick of holding herself back. She realized that the best leaders are usually highly self aware, and with this comes an understanding of their own limiting beliefs and when to listen to self doubt as a valuable message, and when to override it. Listening to such people through podcasts has taught her a lot about herself, and the podcast medium has become a form of therapy. Hence the name of the podcast – Tiger Therapy. “Tiger Therapy has been an eye-opener, revealing the hidden struggles that affect us all, yet rarely get talked about,” says Pippa.

The inaugural season will also include Kim Scott and Joscelin Yeo.  Kim Scott, the author of the NYT bestseller Radical Candor: Be a Kick-Ass Boss Without Losing Your Humanity and Radical Respect: How to Work Together Better, and co-founder of the company Radical Candor. Kim was a CEO coach at Dropbox, Qualtrics, Twitter, and other tech companies. She was a member of the faculty at Apple University and before that led AdSense, YouTube, and DoubleClick teams at Google. “Earlier in my career I experienced a lot of discrimination, bullying and even sexual harassment as a woman in tech,” says Kim, “It’s so easy to blame yourself. How could I possibly do my best work in that kind of environment?”

Joscelin Yeo, former Olympic Swimmer known as “Singapore’s Swim Queen” will also appear on Tiger Therapy. Yeo achieved remarkable success as an athlete while battling self-limiting beliefs and a hidden mental health crisis that led her to suicidal thoughts. “The expectations of Olympic athletes is that they’re the strongest in the world and they never crumble. While I was competing at the highest levels in the world, my body was performing at its peak, but my mind was not,” says Joscelin Yeo, “Opening up about this journey on Tiger Therapy isn’t just for me—it’s for everyone wrestling with their own self-doubt.”

Other speakers from Season One include Shellye Archambeau, former CEO of MetricStream, who was one of Silicon Valley’s first black female CEO’s; Aisha Bowe, a former NASA rocket scientist, who grew up believing she was “stupid” and bad at math; Dr Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, an organizational psychologist who studies confidence; Oscar-winning screenwriter, Lesley Paterson and Julia Stewart, founder of Alurx and former Chair & CEO of Dine Brands Global.

Already confirmed for Season Two is Wim Hof “The Iceman”; Amy Edmondson, Harvard Business Schools Professor of Leadership, who coined the term “psychological safety” and Timothy Shriver, Chairman of Special Olympics.

Tiger Therapy is available on Tigerhall’s website, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

Pippa Woodhead

Pippa Woodhead, Head of Podcasts at Tigerhall in Singapore and expanding rapidly across Asia Pacific and the US, has had her fair share of imposter syndrome moments in her career. This struggle inspired her to create “Tiger Therapy.”

She used to shy away from opportunities, stay out of the spotlight, and believe that a successful career wasn’t for her. But now, she’s done with holding herself back and is ready to embrace life fully.

During her five years at Tigerhall, Pippa conducted over 800 interviews with exceptional figures in the business world, including Fortune 500 executives, workplace happiness experts, neuroscientists, and Olympic medalists. What she discovered is that great leaders are often highly self-aware. They recognize their own limiting beliefs and know when to heed self-doubt as a valuable message and when to push past it.

Through these insightful podcast conversations, Pippa learned a lot about herself, and the medium itself became her form of therapy. With Tiger Therapy, her aim is to engage in meaningful conversations, explore people’s career journeys, discover more about herself, and share some laughs along the way.

Originally from the UK, Pippa has lived in India, Thailand, and now proudly calls Singapore her home.
