Pierre Rehov, an independent producer and director has created eight remarkable documentaries that will unveil the original facts of the Middle East conflicts. The French-Israeli film maker has put some light on the actual aspects of the situations going on in Middle east and now aims to spread it to the world through his documentaries.
Rehov has been working to debunk most of the myths pertaining regarding the Israeli-Arab conflicts for over 10 years, since the uprising of the second Intifada. He was inspired to create these documentaries because of the fact that most of the national and international media does not show the truth about the Israeli-Arab conflict due to threats and pressures.
The director took several risks to explore the truth behind what’s shown and told to people everyday through electronic media which led him to create these eight documentaries. All ofthese films contain actual footage and claim to provide a totally different perspective of the Middle East conflict.
Even though Rehov has put so much effort to make these films, yet no TV network is ready to air these documentaries outside Israel due to political correctness, pro-Arab views, lack of knowledge and fear of terrorism.
The movies have cost half a million dollars to make and now Rehov plans to upload the same over social media for free for which he’s started a crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo to raise funds. The goal of the campaign is to raise $54000 which will be utilized to upload the movies over YouTube, Dailymotion, Facebook and other social media and also to renounce seeing any royalties in the future.
One of his films ‘Silent Exodus’ was already distributed that garnered 50,000 views in just a few weeks.
With every $7000 USD raised from the Indiegogo campaign, Rehov will upload one film and once the campaign is completed successfully, he’ll upload the whole catalog of movies for free. The goal of the project is to gain at least one million views for each movie.
