The World Egg Bank’s (TWEB) COO, Caderina Carrizosa, and Laboratory Manager, Brian LoManto, will be visiting Aurora Reproductive Care in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on January 30.
Carrizosa and LoManto will be giving a presentation to this clinic on the advantages of working with The World Egg Bank, such as the donor screening process, assurances and guarantees, and the different patient options. TWEB was invited to present to this clinic after attending the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) in September 2017.
“We find it beneficial to travel to the clinic as representatives of The World Egg Bank to educate on how we are different and how we can be of help to their patients while creating a long-lasting partnership,” stated Carrizosa.
The World Egg Bank has been successfully shipping donor ova to Canada since 2004. TWEB’s donors meet Canadian compliance requirements and the extended roster has over 400 donors.

Approximately 1 in 6, or 16%, of Canadians experience infertility. Finding an egg donor in Canada can be a challenge because women cannot legally be reimbursed for egg donation. Thus, many Canadians look beyond the border to find an egg donor at egg banks in the United States.
The World Egg Bank sets high industry standards for egg quality and cultivating close relationships with egg donors and recipients. TWEB operates a state of the art retrieval facility with a singular focus on egg freezing. This has shown to further improve egg quality by providing consistent and better controlled monitoring, procedures, and environment. TWEB’s roster includes hundreds of donors and has thousands of eggs available for immediate shipment.
