Los Angeles, CA – December 8, 2018 – TRICOAST WORLDWIDE invites friends and family of Detroit to the special behind-the-scenes event for ‘Revival!’ on Tuesday, Dec. 11th.
Directed by Danny Green (Troubled Waters) and from Harry Lennix (The Blacklist), Revival! is an inspiring, gospel musical that just hit US theaters over the weekend. As an exciting and unique approach to the retelling of the Gospel according to John, Revival! recaptures the spiritual imagination through immersive sound, vibrant images and powerhouse vocals from legendary voices including 10-time Grammy winner, Chaka Khan (The Blues Brothers) and Grammy winner, Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child).

In one great continuous scene, Lennix’s Pilate strides from a modern corporate boardroom to a World War I battlefield to the Bolshevik Revolution to Jesus’ day — he changes costumes, but corrupt authority never changes,” wrote AARP.
Exclusively for the community of Detroit on Tuesday, Dec. 11th, will be an emotionally captivating performance from gospel star, Mali Music (Best Urban Contemporary Album) as Jesus, who is also credited as the film’s writer. Alongside personal remarks from the film’s executive producer and star, T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh (In Living Color), there will be an inside look at feature music videos and other clips.
