Vasilyeva, MD, PhD, Radiologist, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. She is a highly-trained and qualified radiologist with expertise inall facets of her work, including breast imaging. Dr. Vasilyeva has been practicing for over nine years and is currently serving patientsat Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York City, New York. Lincoln Medical Center is one of New York City’s premier acute care hospitals, a teaching hospital renowned for its Centers of Excellence; and a recognized industry leader in the implementation of state-of-the art medical technology and best practices.
Dr. Vasilyeva was awarded her medical degree in Russia at Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1981. Upon relocating to the United States, she interned at New York Hospital and served her residency in radiology at Harlem Hospital. Dr. Vasilyeva also undertook fellowship training in breast imaging at San Francisco General Hospital. She holds a PhD from the Moscow Regional Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board-certified in radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Furthermore, Dr. Vasilyeva remains active in her field as a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the New York Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. She speaks Russian in addition to English and credits her success to her hard work. When she is not working, she dedicates to sports and skiing.
