THE BOOK OF WIZZY: ANOTHER OPUS BY ANN CHAMBERLIN THE LATEST ADDITION, A MYSTERY, BY THE AUTHOR OF TWENTY BOOKS

December 12, 2016: Penmore Press LLC has released the first modern mystery by international bestselling author Ann Chamberlin. The title of the book is ‘The Book of Wizzy’. It is available on Amazon. ‘The Book of Wizzy’ begins with eighteen-year-old Brittany Bingham, working as a housekeeper for posh condominiums in Park City, who finds a dead body in a hot tub. From here the murder mystery of Dave Jaramillo starts to unravel. The book’s reviews have been exceptional.

This mystery revolves primarily around Helen Snow, the aunt whom Brittany calls when she finds the body. Helen lost her Downs syndrome daughter Wizzy at the age of three, fifteen years ago, and is still in mourning. In fact, Wizzy`s angelic spirit still visits her mother. Helen’s celestial marriage is on the rocks and her Bishop has just called her to the challenge of Relief Society President. Should she accept the Bishop`s call and tune out everything else, including Wizzy? Or should she respond to Brittany and resolve the murder mystery?

Kirkus Reviews said of the book “

heartwarming . . . leads . . . to a satisfying affirmation of . . . self. “

“Imprisoned by her faith–or by a lack of it–Sister Snow embarks on a dizzying quest for answers: to murder, to life, to an elusive peace. The Book of Wizzy is a gem, cut for lovers of mysteries starring curiously odd sleuths who, in the end, remind us so much of ourselves,” says K. Dougherty, one of the top customers at Amazon. The book is available in both paperback and Kindle edition on Amazon.

A glimpse of Ann Chamberlin`s life experiences can be seen and felt in her books. The wide arena of her work ranges from the Ottoman Empire to Joan of Arc’s France. Ann Chamberlin has not restricted herself to the single style of writing and has produced art in both fiction and  non-fiction. Cultural influences can be seen through her writings with a tinge of feminism. “Purpose of storytelling . . . is to support positions in exact opposition to the views prevailing in a culture’s powerhouses, whatever those views happen to be.” These views are stated on her website.
