Israel is on the path to becoming a leading country in terms of technology. It understands and realises the potential of growth that emerging technologies like the blockchain encompass. And the collaborative efforts by Draper University and Tezos Israel aims to maximize this potential by accelerating the training mechanism for early-stage entrepreneurs.
Tezos Israel and Draper University, the two giants of their industry, have come together to provide an online blockchain program to scale blockchain-focused businesses across the globe. The conglomeration between Tezos and the Draper Ecosystem aims to bring together talented blockchain entrepreneurs and experts from Silicon Valley on the same virtual platform to help mentor, guide, and support blockchain businesses.
Tezos Israel is an innovation lab focused on promoting, adopting, and expanding blockchain technology across the globe. The Tezos network is spread across South Africa, Australia, India, the USA, UK, Switzerland, and several other countries. As a part of the technology-driven community, Tezos has raised $1.2 Billion to support startups, development studios, and community organisations worldwide. This investment has positioned the company as a global leader in developing STOs, CBDCs, and NFTs. Spread across over 80 startups and projects, 11 corporates and government projects with over 1500 developers worldwide, the Tezos ecosystem aims to educate, train, and empower businesses in support of blockchain technology.
According to Elie Terdjman, Founder & CEO of Tezos Israel, “Israel is internationally known as the “Startup Nation,” but the blockchain potential is not even close to being realized. The collaboration between Tezos Israel & DraperU will give entrepreneurs the foundation and momentum needed to foster ideas, establish new startups, and receive assistance from our innovation lab to help propel them forward across the globe.”
Draper University is a result of the efforts put in by one of the biggest bulls in the venture capital domain, Tim Draper. Draper has already made billions of dollars worth of investments in the blockchain industry in companies like Coinbase, Tezos, VeChain, CasperLabs, BitBounce, ElementZero, etc. And by introducing the Tezos Israel Blockchain Program in collaboration with Tezos Israel, Draper aims to boost innovation in the blockchain realm. Draper will not only mentor and guide blockchain-focused businesses but also intends to invest in the most innovative ones.
“Draper University was the first institution to offer a blockchain education program, and we are excited to partner with Tezos Israel to bring more entrepreneurs into the ecosystem,” said Andy Tang – CEO, Draper University and Partner, Draper Associates.
The Tezos Israel Blockchain Program is entirely online and is scheduled from May 3rd – 17th, 2021. The registration for this limited scholarship course will end on April 28th, 2021. The program is open to all blockchain entrepreneurs from around the world, however, admissions are subject to accreditation. This 2 weeks online program will comprise 3 hours of LIVE sessions with experts and advisors from the Silicon Valley and five 1-on-1 mentoring sessions by Tim Draper.
