Synchrono Features Demand Driven Manufacturing in Upcoming IndustryWeek Manufacturing & Technology Conference

Synchrono will be featured in the upcoming IndustryWeek Manufacturing & Technology Conference & Expo from May 8-10 in Raleigh, NC at booth 731. John Maher, VP of Product Strategy at Synchrono and Jim Shore, Principal of Quality Lean Solutions will be presenting a session titled, “Get Lean on Inventory” on Wednesday, May 9 from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm.

Maher and Shore will address common manufacturing challenges of too much inventory, stock outs disrupting production, and lack of visibility with suppliers. Attendees will learn how eKanban technology can help to right-size inventory and automate replenishment, even in highly complex, multi-plant environments. These lean manufacturing experts will provide case study examples of eKanban technology producing a near immediate ROI, plus proven strategies for introducing lean process change, engaging suppliers and using system data to drive focused continuous improvement.

Maher has more than twenty years of experience working in manufacturing and offers subject matter expertise in the areas of ERP, MRP, APS, supply chain, manufacturing planning and scheduling systems, MES, demand-driven manufacturing, and constraints management. Maher’s expertise includes incorporating lean and demand-driven strategies into manufacturing organizations to help improve flow, manage constraints and drive on-time production; ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction and profitability.

Jim Shore is the Principal of Quality Lean Solutions, a Consultancy specializing in Medical Device companies, Supplier Quality and Lean Manufacturing principles. Shore is co-author of “Proactive Supplier Management in the Medical Device Industry” (2016: Quality Press). He is Six Sigma Black Belt and Quality Manager/Operations Excellence-certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ), as well as an ASQ-certified Quality Auditor and Mechanical Inspector.

IndustryWeek Manufacturing & Technology Conference & Expo is the only event designed to keep manufacturing decision-makers, from design to delivery, at the forefront of manufacturing’s digital transformation. The three-day event focuses on the key elements of the future of manufacturing: technology integration, leadership, continuous improvement, operational excellence, design/engineering, talent development, and supply chain.
