July 30, 2025 – Susan Troth delivered an inspiring address to the National Dance and Drama Group of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Youth and Young Adults (YAYA) on Thursday, July 24th at 1:00 PM (virtual session), calling on worshippers to move in alignment with God’s divine will, drawing from the powerful message of Psalm 149.
Troth, a respected voice in Christian worship and spiritual leadership, spoke passionately about the sacred role of movement and performance in worship. She emphasized that dance and drama are not merely artistic expressions, but spiritual acts of obedience and reverence when guided by the Holy Spirit.
“Psalm 149 reminds us that praise is a weapon, and that our bodies—our movements—are instruments of warfare and surrender,” Troth said. “We must dance not just to express ourselves, but to align with the heartbeat of God. Our choreography must reflect heaven’s choreography.”
Her message was particularly resonant with the young creatives in attendance, who are preparing for upcoming ministry performances and looking to deepen the spiritual depth of their art.
The session was part of RCCG YAYA’s broader initiative to equip young worship leaders across the nation with biblical foundations and prophetic direction for ministry through the arts. The virtual format allowed participants from across regions to join in, creating a dynamic and spirit-filled environment.
