Sandy, Utah – April 6, 2022 – Sunwest Bank is pleased to welcome Jim Wardle as its new Market Area President in Arizona. In this role, Wardle will lead the Arizona team and be focused on broadening Sunwest Bank’s C&I and real estate presence in the market.

Prior to joining Sunwest Bank, Jim managed high performing teams with both Deutsche Bank Group and Wells Fargo Bank; servicing and lending to customers in the tech, medical, legal, commercial, and industrial, and investor real estate segments. During his tenure with Wells Fargo alone, he and his teams closed more than $500 million in working capital and commercial real estate facilities.

Mr. Wardle holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Arizona.
