Los Angeles, CA – 2 August, 2017 – Stop Stuff™ is pleased to announce its upcoming event dubbed “The Stop Stuff Stand Down”, a silent movement that aims to bring communities together against gun violence and to support organizations around the country fighting gun violence on a daily basis.
The Stop Stuff™ Stand Down will take place on August 19, 2017 at 8039 S. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90044 in collaboration with United Hood Nation, the organization that structured a truce between the Crips and Bloods in 2016.
It’s been one year since Rappers the Game and Snoop Dogg came together in Los Angeles extending invitation to all gang members in efforts to create a “dialogue” around the highly publicized shootings that occurred shortly before their meeting, which ultimately lead to the signing of a “Cease fire” peace treaty, on July 17, 2016. To this end, every individual is enjoined to come together in silence to take a stand against gun violence and stand up for the organizations fighting against gun violence and saving lives nationwide.
