The US is set to experience some of the finest acoustic vibrations ever heard. Stephen ‘Ragga’ Marley, the eight times Grammy award winning artist and multi-talented singer, writer and producer, will soon embark on his exclusive Acoustic Tour across the country. A dollar from each ticket bought will go towards supporting Marley’s transformative non-profit organization, the Ghetto Youths Foundation.
An intimate encounter with an artist is a lifetime memory, and there will be plenty of it starting October 27, 2018 at Nashville, TN. The tour will encompass over 15 cities, giving all Stephen Marley fans just the opportunity they have been waiting for. On the tour, Marley will play his melodic hits in their most authentic origin. The tour will end at Washington, DC, on November 17, 2018.
Stephen Marley also released his One Take Acoustic Jam Album last week to the surprise of many. “We didn’t really plan for an album, so everything is in there, the mistakes too,” he laughed, “but we liked how it sounded so we decided to release it. It is definitely a good vibration, putting something different out there,” says Stephen Marley in recent Billboard Magazine interview.

Marley’s eclectic music defies categorization, as it is an organic blend, and has earned him two Grammys: for album ‘Mind Control’ in 2007 and ‘Mind Control: Acoustic’ in 2009. His unique genre is a mix of reggae with hip-hop, electronic and soulful beats.
Along with Marley, fans will also witness the talent of his daughter Mystic Marley. Mystic Marley will open for her dad in six cities; Homer, NY, Ridgefield, CT, Westbury NY, New York, NY, Glenside, PA, and Washington DC. Another celebrity on the tour is The Momentous, who is famous for his unplugged style and storytelling skills.
The Ghetto Youths Foundation has been set up to offer opportunities to the youth, senior citizens and families from underprivileged communities and those facing challenging situations. Marley fans can also support the organization by attending an ‘Exclusive Meet & Greet’ with Stephen Marley. The event will be organized at two stops on the tour: on November 15 at New York at the Sony Hall, and on November 17 at Washington DC at the Howard Theater.
Tickets for the Stephen Marley Acoustic Tour are available at www.stephenmarley.com. Only 50 tickets remain for each city. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to the Ghetto Youth Foundation programs, which support global opportunity and access for disenfranchised communities.
