In addition, Simple Puppy is aimed at making pet parenting, simplified and easier than ever before. The application will let the pet parents to find the right pet care professionals including dog walkers, pet sitters, pet groomers, dog trainers and veterinarians. About Simple Puppy
Simple Puppy is an inspiration of two dog lovers, David Ocumarez and Fidel Hechavarria. In early 2017, David adopted Lucy, an adorable Shi Tzu rescued from a puppy mill before ending up at the dog rescue center in Miami. The pup was to be a gift for his daughter, and since then they’ve quickly become best friends.
Like most proud pet parents, David created a Facebook page for her. He’d post Lucy’s daily pictures and videos. In less than three months, the family had over 15k followers for their beloved pup.
He decided to take his idea one step further, but he needed help. This was when he invited his good friend and veteran Software Engineer to join a new venture. Fidel became the co-founder of Simple Puppy.
