As SHzoom continues to expand and make giant strides, Matthew Booco will act as an Executive Advisor.  Matthew is a Business Leader and a fleet industry expert with over ten years of working experience as a public sector fleet management professional in the municipal government space. He has worked in different capacities in the fleet management industry, from Fleet Analyst, Business Operations Coordinator, Fleet Division Manager, to Executive Director of the General Services Department.

Born and raised in Colorado, Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a Certified Automotive Fleet Manager by the NAFA Fleet Management Association.

With his ideas and experience, he hopes to guide SHzoom in solving some of the biggest challenges in the fleet industry like unexpected downtime and the shortage of qualified technicians. His novel idea of launching a public sector apprenticeship program for individuals who desires to pursue a career in fleet management by partnering with local trade schools is reinventing the way Governments source for talent.

Matthew’s emergence as a member of the SHzoom board, he will be applying his wealth of experience and industry connections in helping to resolve some of the biggest challenges in the fleet industry and build upon the growing demand for Uptime’s fleet technology platform. In addition, Matthew hopes to introduce new ideas that will make the already highly rated Uptime more valuable and attractive for both government and self-insured private fleets.
