Shelbyville, TN – Shelbyville dentist Dr. Wilfred Alcorn is raising donations for a local non-profit organization and helping people improve their dental health by lowering their dental bill.
Dr. Alcorn will be supporting the local organization with his upcoming campaign to help the people of his local area. He is inviting the community to participate by bringing $39 to his office. He will be donating the whole $39 to the Child Development Center. Each person will be rewarded with a free dental cleaning, exam, and consultation.
Dr. Alcorn explained, “It is a growing problem. So many families I know need assistance to care for their children with disabilities and other developmental needs. Organizations that provide support to these families need our help all year round and we can help them together.”
“There are approximately over 60,000 disabled children living in Tennessee. This is very alarming,” said Dr. Alcorn.
Dr. Alcorn and his team of dentists in Shelbyville have been bringing smiles to the local community.
When asked why he would give such a discount and donate all the proceeds, Dr. Alcorn said, “Local communities are strong not because of money but because of the free spirit of helping one’s neighbors. In a troubled economy that affects many Americans, if I could get the public to help special needs children while getting their basic dental work done, why not?”
“I would like to thank those who are planning to participate, and I ask everyone who now knows about our program to spread the word to their friends and neighbors. The more people know about this effort, the more needy families can receive aid.” Dr. Alcorn concluded.
