Lagos, Nigeria – Jul 30, 2021 – Up and coming, sensational Nigerian music artist, Julius Begger has proudly announced the release of his latest single titled ‘Jah Bole’. The single which is available on all digital streaming platforms elaborates on the horrors of the Nigerian kidnapping culture.
The emerging musician, Julius has dedicated his music to bring out the truth about the world and his surroundings through his incredibly sublime melodies. ‘Jah Bole’ deals with the surging issue of Nigeria’s kidnapping culture that has vastly impacted the lives of the people there. The gifted artist had been a victim of a kidnapping incident himself and has first-hand experience of what is endured by the victims. That is the main theme of the latest song. He wants to bring a change in the current situation with this brilliant thought-provoking lyrical ballad.
The born-talented musician who hails from Abia state in Nigeria was born and brought up in the streets of Surulere in Lagos, Nigeria. Since his start in Music he has gone on to win the 3rdEdition of the “MiC-On” competition held in UNILAG (University of Lagos) in 2011/2012, “Youngest artiste” of the year (Ping Awards), “Most promising artiste” of the year (YCA Awards/Therma Awards) in the years 2013, 2014/2015 and 2016 respectively.
He has recently added to his list of accolades the Music Flames Awards which he won this year2017 in the category for “New Act to watch out for”. His single “Don’t Leave Me” featuring Master KG and Wale Jana reached iTunes charts top 100 in Argentina entering at number 93 in 2020.
Begger releases music from the stable of renowned music label Evision Music Group, which saw the immense potential in him and his musical style and signed him up. Begger’s outstanding hold over the genre of Afro-pop and Afro-beats has separated him from the crowd of his contemporaries.
