Segun Pryme, the audience-favorite Nigerian American comedian whose popularity is as infectious as his humor, is proud to announce today that he will host his show Seriously Unserious on February 10th, 2019, at the TBH Theater in Houston. Opening acts include performances from a diverse line-up of comedians and entertainers such as Aphrican Ace, Alfred Kainga, Mz Bukky, Tytanium, Prof B, Shola Iyiola, Corlis Delauren and Son Tran.
Seriously Unserious’ purpose is to reintroduce the audience to the humorous side of the African cultures, and demystify the stereotype around what it means to be an African living in America. Segun is candid, unapologetic, and extremely relatable as he infuses his stand up with elements from his own experiences living in the US and working in the highly competitive entertainment industry. Fans can expect fun new material that will blossom into enormous belly laughs, and will leave them wanting for more – and Segun does not fail to deliver as he rolls from one fun anecdote to the other.
“I am excited to connect with my Texas fans by finally bringing Seriously Unserious to Houston,” said Segun. “February 10th will see the celebration of humor and good music. We have prepared an amazing show that’s gone beyond our expectations, and we can’t wait for Houstonians – and Texans from all over the state – to come and have a good time!”
