Schneider Electric showcases smart home solutions at BuildCon 2024

Schneider Electric revealed a range of technologies and solutions to enable the next generation of homes and buildings. The company presented these home energy management solutions at Goa, BuildCon 2024, Schneider Electric’s flagship event, centred around the theme “Future Forward – Switch to Smart.”

The business has released the updated Wiser 2.0 smart home automation line, which combines management features with simple, scalable automation to improve comfort and convenience. The new “Miluz Lara” line of switches and outlets with cutting-edge features for contemporary living was also on display. The range helps homeowners create healthier living environments with its new features, which include air quality indicators that provide real-time AQI information.

Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Sharma, Zone President, Greater India, MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India, said that Home energy consumption is set to increase significantly over the coming decade, underscoring the need to make buildings more digital and decarbonised. Schneider Electric Wiser 2.0 and Miluz Lara solutions are tailor-made to suit Indian homes and meet diverse customer needs, while contributing to the country’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, through local manufacturing.
