APC by Schneider Electric is on the lookout for a new operations, channels and alliances general manager for the Pacific region, as Muralee Kanagaratnam gets set to step into a new role.
The company has appointed Kanagaratnam as its next regional offer management director – international region, effective from 15 April.
Kanagaratnam joined APC by Schneider Electric as its Pacific region channel and alliance director in early 2015, subsequently being named as Schneider Electric’s Pacific region operations, channels and alliances general manager in early 2017.
In his new role, Kanagaratnam will be charged with elevating the strategic growth ambition and evolution of the company’s home and business networks (HBN) portfolio, hybrid IT, and edge computing opportunities.

Kanagaratnam was previously head of channel sales for Adobe in Australia and New Zealand, a role he took after almost a year as the vendor’s distribution channel manager for A/NZ. Before Adobe, Kanagaratnam spent several years with Express Data. APC by Schneider Electric said it is actively seeking to fill its operations, channels and alliances role in the Pacific, while also looking for someone to fill its strategic marketing manager for the Pacific role, with Christopher Lacherdis also taking on a new role, as head of strategic marketing for East Asia and Pacific.
In his new role, Lacherdis will be responsible for producing marketing strategies that support consistent business growth and enhance brand equity and awareness of Schneider Electric across the region.
