“A few companies have brought 200,000-lumen lighting to the market, but in multiple fixtures connected together or just concepts. The latest edition to the RuggedGrade Stadium Pro IV series of LED stadium lights includes a new 1,400-watt light that makes history by exceeding the 200,000 lumens mark (RGL-STADIUMPRO-4-1400WT1PS2A1). It improves upon the technology of the Stadium Pro III by boosting the available wattage from 200 watts to 1400 and increasing efficiency by 5 lumens per watt on the 1400-watt model, and an impressive 15 lumens per watt on the 500-watt model. Its output has been verified in independent testing by both Underwriters Laboratories and Design Lights Consortium, a non-profit organization that supports efficiency in lighting by defining quality standards.
The fourth-generation Stadium Pro series also introduces build quality improvements, more lens choices, light quality improvements, and new mount options such as slip fit and optional junction boxes. Stadium Pro’s rockstar reliability has also been improved with new uPowerTek drivers that deliver even more hours of top-notch performance without the need for maintenance.
The Stadium Pro IV upgrades functionality by incorporating onboard dimmer controls. The controls allow for lumens to be reduced or increased to meet changing lighting needs or to match the output of existing fixtures. RuggedGrade certifies the reliability of the fixture by offering a seven-year warranty that is extendable for up to 20 years. By obtaining a DLC certification, RuggedGrade also ensures the Stadium Pro IV is eligible for energy rebate programs.
LED lighting provides better lighting solutions for residential and commercial use by adding efficiency and features while reducing energy needs. It exceeds the US energy standards that have recently led to the ban on the sale of most incandescent bulbs. For both homeowners and businesses, LEDs provide greater flexibility in lighting temperature and brightness while dramatically reducing power needs.
More than 80,000 Stadium Pro series fixtures have been put to use in stadiums around the world since being introduced as part of RuggedGrade’s 2018 line. By leveraging LED technology, the Stadium Pro saves an average of 1000 watts per install when compared with metal halide alternatives.
