Following three years of education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Chung was awarded the prestigious honor of enrollment into the Early Admissions Program to the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. She combined her last year of college and the first year of dental school in one rigorous year that would allow her to reach her dream a year earlier. Dr. Chung graduated with her Dental Medicine Doctorate in 1996. Furthermore, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and maintains professional memberships with the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
A highly respected orthodontist, Dr Chung is the recipient of numerous awards, including The Quintessence Publishing Company’s Award for Excellence in Dental Research, Dr. Leon H. Schneyer Memorial Award for Excellence in the Dental Basic Sciences, an American College of Dentistry Award for Research Presentation, and the American Dental Association/DENTSPLY Corporation Student Clinician Award. Dr. Chung attributes her success to striving for success with her patients, and her passion for health. When she is not working, Dr. Chung enjoys traveling, food, art, and music.
