Ren Ashfield and the Magicians cast their most euphoric rock spell to date with ‘Sunny Day Smile’

Ren Ashfield and the Magicians connected rock fans to a realm beyond the mundane with their latest single, Sunny Day Smile. The licks of psychedelically sweetened indie rock in the prelude and pre-chorus soon burst into incantations of classic rock, evoking a sense of the profound, to leave the audience captive with a sense of euphoric wonder as they drink in the introspective gold cast into the sonic spell.

Influenced by 60’s and 70’s rock revolutionaries, but still staying true to their charismatically energetic compulsion to get music fans excited through craftsmanship and innovation, Ren Ashfield and the Magicians’ signature sound defies expectation and explanation.

Sunny Day Smile will be distributed via the Silvermain Production record label and available to stream on all major platforms from January 26th.

The single will be released ahead of the upcoming official music video, shot by the Italian film director, Mattia Bello, and the band’s sophomore LP, Sonic Creations, containing nine original tracks and one cover which revives the familiar is set to be released in February.

Ren Ashfield Said:

“Sunny Day Smile conveys that even if the world is heavy and confused, the sun comes around every day with its big smile to give us hope that somehow we can make things better. With this single and our upcoming album, we felt the need to deal directly with people and be a reason to get excited; satisfaction will always be more important to us than financial transactions.”

Amelia Vandergast, the Executive Editor at A&R Factory said:

“With the radiant rock-licked tones driving through the sense of soul that will pour akaleidoscope of colour into your own, Sunny Day Smile imparts its rays in a sagelyeuphoric way that will leave you compelled to return to the vibrant celebration of life. Hitplay and embrace the poetic rapture.”
