Owasso, OK – For the past 13 years Read Smart has been serving South Tulsa & Broken Arrow families, and now the founders are thrilled to announce the opening of their third location, saying it’s a dream come true!
“We love Owasso! We’ve lived in the greater Tulsa area for nearly 17 years and know that opening a Read Smart in Owasso was long overdue. It’s such an honor for us to be in Owasso where we can now help even more families thrive in the area of reading!”, says Read Smart Owners/Founders Michael and Delight Anderson.
What is Read Smart? Read Smart’s innovative, creative, and personalized reading program helps students quickly advance their reading skills. They are passionate about helping kids ages pre-k through 6th grade prepare for their future. The positive, nurturing, and motivating environment they champion at Read Smart, along with the guided one-on-one instruction by a team of exceptional educators, create a winning platform for students to succeed.
“My kids want to go, they’re getting that one-on-one attention that they need”, says parent Bryan.
Why is Read Smart different? After many years of teaching, Delight identified specific learning patterns and sequences in her students. Using this knowledge, she not only saw improvement, but also saw how the rate of improvement could be DRAMATICALLY increased! Her individualized plans work not only for struggling students, but also for those who want to excel. Delight believes a strong reader results in a more confident learner and person as a whole.

The reason for another location? The Andersons want to be accessible to more families. With Delight’s educational experience and Michael’s entrepreneurial and business background, they both felt a calling to help even MORE students thrive! Therefore, expanding into the growing community of Owasso made perfect sense.
