This replaces the clunky spreadsheets with dynamic insights and facilitates the client with a real-time forecast at the SKU-store-day level. This granular demand forecasting empowers planners to prevent overstock and stock-outs before they happen.

Unlike a conventional system, our AI system is profit-driven rather than KPI-driven. Thus, we embed a financial optimization engine at the heart of our solution that serves beyond standard metrics. This engine initiates a Trade-off Analysis that calculates the financial impacts of lost sales and holding costs, and, based on this, it prioritizes stocking items with the highest contribution to net profit, ensuring the company isn’t just selling more but earning more.

Our AI-powered system enables the client to continuously monitor stock levels across the network of 1,200+ stores to avoid trapped inventory. When unexpected demand pops up, the system flags which stores are running low and which have excess. It recommends transferring overstocked inventory to locations in need, helping keep inventory balanced.

The AI system helps the client with dynamic markdown management. When the products are near the end of their shelf lives, our AI solution determines the best markdown strategy (the exact moment to lower a price and by how much). This helped the client clear out stock efficiently while making room for new arrivals without taking a hit on revenue.

Together, these capabilities enabled the client to move from reactive planning to a more agile model, keeping shelves stocked and loyalty intact while protecting revenue.

Outcomes

Our AI solutions have not only boosted client operations but also improved product availability from 71% to 94% and reduced out-of-stocks from 15% to 3%. It also supported a massive supply chain network expansion from 80 to 260 locations and ensure 17% boost in fulfillment speed, achieved without the need for extra inventory.
