About Global 1000
Global 1000 initially began as Ferguson 1000, a jobs creation initiative designed for metropolitan development areas to; Increase Economic Activity, Reduce Serious & Violent Crimes, Improve Education, Create Sustainable mixed-income communities, and improve health and wellness. The hiring initiative was so impactful that founder Dr. Lance McCarthy, decided to bring it to Baltimore and joined forces with former Baltimore Ravens Star Ray Lewis. With the success and insurmountable opportunities created within Urban communities many more were created as a national effort which is now Global 1000. Ferguson 1000, Baltimore 1000, St. Louis 1000, and LA 1000 have collectively and miraculously become a Global Initiative that will soon be integrated into a number of other major cities across our nation.
