Created by Qlik experts passionate about technology and sharing their knowledge with the rest of the world, QUARKC guides users through moving their Qlik Journey to Kubernetes and Containerization architecture, teaching them how to start new deployments or migrations from existing platforms in the process. A new project, QUARKC shows the behavior, performance benefits, and scalability of Qlik Sense Enterprise on Kubernetes.
Led by experts, users learn what it means to move to Kubernetes when a support organization is Windows Ready only, and learn to discover the benefits of stability and scalability in system architecture. Furthermore, discover the value and efficiency of Kubernetes Container versus Windows Virtual Servers, and what each solution might mean for one’s organization through this new IT architecture project.
At each point, the project considers how to minimize overall costs by building a cluster that focuses on small form factors, power, 8GB memory minimums per node, and low power consumption.
Early backers will receive a variety of project components, including a comprehensive guide on how to deploy Qlik Sense on Kubernetes, setup clusters, and scale horizontally by adding new K8s nodes with benchmark and performance details; an in-depth comparison of Qlik Sense on Kubernetes deployments via Premise or Cloud options; and a comprehensive comparison of Qlik Sense on Kubernetes or Windows, highlighting all similarities, differences, advantages, and challenges of Qlik Sense.
Now seeking support on Kickstarter, funds from this campaign will be used to support QUARKC, including associated production costs.
