Mt. Rainier, MD – September 12, 2018 – Join author Izolda Trakhtenberg at Joe’s Movement Emporium (3309 Bunker Hill Road – Mt. Rainier, MD 20712) at 7:00 pm on September 24, 2018, to celebrate the release of her latest book, Speak From Within: Engage, Inspire, and Motivate Any Audience. Based on her Speak-To-Succeed workshop, the book guides readers in building the confidence and skills to engage and inspire any audience. With it, readers master communication techniques for meetings, interviews, and presentations.

Speak From Within grew out of Trakhtenberg’s years of traveling the world as a trainer for NASA. She developed the techniques in the book to train professionals, diplomats, and others on how to compellingly communicate science data. She distilled those techniques and combined them with the methods she used to conquer her own public-speaking phobia to write the book.

At the book release event, guests will take part in a mini-workshop to learn physical, emotional, and mental speaking techniques. They will pick up easy techniques to beat public speaking fears and the four key elements to connect with an audience. A raffle will also take place during the celebration.

About the author:

Born in the former Soviet Union, Izolda conquered language barriers and a public-speaking phobia to become a heart-centered, effective communicator. As part of the year-long immigration process, she and her family lived in a war zone. During that time, she developed her unique strategies to manage stress through the body/mind connection. She traveled internationally for NASA teaching professors, scientists, diplomats, and business leaders how to teach and communicate their message.

She speaks on leadership, creativity, and stress management. Izolda also presents leadership and communication programs all over the world. She lives in Greenbelt, MD with her husband, a dog and two cats. Speak From Within is her fifth book. She holds a BA in English from the University of Michigan. She has a mission to visit one new country every year and meet as many new people as possible.
